FAQs
Our most commonly asked questions.
How much notice do I need to give when hiring a suit from you?
We recommend booking as soon as possible to guarantee availability of style and sizes. If you are booking for your wedding, we recommend starting to plan your suits around 6 months before the wedding and having your measurements completed 3 months before the wedding. Measurements can be re-taken closer to the date, and for children we can advise depending on circumstances.
If you have a last-minute event or can’t give notice, please get in touch as we are often able to hire with as little as 10 days’ notice for single hires.
What sizes do you do?
Most of our options start at a 20” chest, which is usually around a 2-year-old and go up to a 60” chest, leg-length accommodates up to a 38” inside leg. The suits are generally cut for the male form however, we have measured and fitted many females into our hire-wear. If you are concerned about sizing options, please contact us directly.
When do I pay for the suit?
To secure your outfit choice and event date, a deposit is made on booking with us and the balance is then due 1 month before your event.
When can I collect hired suits?
We recommend collecting your hire suit from us 3-5 days before the event. We will be in touch to arrange a suitable date. Hire suits then need to be returned to store on an agreed date and no later than 3 days after the event.
What happens if I damage the suit, accessories or lose items?
A small additional cost charged to the hire ‘Hire damage waiver’ will be added to all hire outfits. Any lost items will be charged at our usual RRP. Both are explained more in the terms and conditions of your hire.
Who should come to the appointments?
For weddings, we recommend the groom/bride, partner and a member of the wedding party come to the initial appointment to make the outfit choices. For the measurement and fitting appointments, we can book in a full wedding party appointment or, we can book in individuals to suit their availability. If you are having difficulty with party members attending, please speak to our team and we can advise. Individual hires can be booked as a single appointment.
What if I need to cancel or change dates for my hire suit?
A non-refundable deposit of £20 will be taken per wearer at the time of booking, if you need to re-arrange your date we can do this up to 4-weeks before the date with no extra charge. Any changes made less than 4 weeks before the date will incur charges.
